DIY Pumpkin Spice Essential Oil Blend
Written By: Robin Lander
Warm, invigorating, and comforting, the delicious aroma of pumpkin spice casts a spell on us every autumn. The familiar spices seem to stir up nostalgia, evoking memories of cozy gatherings, festive food, and seasonal activities. Over time, pumpkin spice has become more than just a scent – it’s a cultural ritual of the changing season, signaling the transition into fall.
When it comes to essential oils, the botanicals that make up classic pumpkin spice aromas are also key ingredients in enlivening diffuser blends, warming massage oils for muscles and joints, sumptuous seasonal body care, and uplifting aromatherapy creations. In this article, we’ll cover the key spice oils in this annual favorite, helping you to formulate your own unique pumpkin spice essential oil blend.

Historical blends centered on ginger, nutmeg, mace, and allspice, with cinnamon, clove, and cardamom later joining the mix to create the enchanting recipes we love today.
Thankfully, these spices are available in essential oil form. With a little creative blending, that irresistible pumpkin spice aroma is just a few drops away.
