Diffusing the Situation: Aromatic Diffusers for Any Space or Place

Aromatherapy diffusers do just what their name implies, they diffuse aromas throughout a room for fragrancing and aromatherapy purposes. The type you choose depends on the size of your space and the design that works best for you.

Ultrasonic Diffusers release a steady, silky plume of essential oils into the air. These cold mist diffusers use water to suspend very fine oil molecules in the air and typically have a large coverage area. They do not use heat to disperse the oil like essential oil candle diffusers or light bulb rings, which lose the fullness of the aroma and can create a more burnt or unpleasant odor. One more advantage of ultrsonic diffusers are that they are quiet - unlike other diffusers on the market that often use noisy pumps.

Another favorite type is a cold-air nebulizing diffuser. This kind uses cold air only, and no water, to disperse essential oils. Made of glass, there are no plastic parts that come into contact with your essential oils, and therefore they can be sturdier than their ultrasonic counterparts. While not as quiet as ultrasonic diffusers, they can be quite powerful in action.

USB Diffusers are handy for aromatherapy on the go. Great for helping to maintain focus while at your laptop!
