androgynous child replacement

Rating

Eden botanicals screwed up by taking androgynous child off the market and replaced it with mystic winds. It's horrible. I don't like it, my friends and family don't like it. It's caused me to stop shopping with Eden Botanicals. I feel double crossed by a loved one.

Complex, unusual, wood resins dominate

Rating

It is an unusual and complex scent that grows on you like sushi or cognac. I didn’t like it initially but it has grown on me, since I now appreciate the musky, resin, woodsy scents which seem a bit stronger to me than the sweet floral scents. If you are open minded and want to explore a unique scent, try it because it is unlike any other scent I’ve tried. This is a scent that comes off strong and intensely resinous at first but after that fades, you can smell the more subtle florals sneaking through.

ok but doesn't replace androgny's child

Rating

i ordered this years ago because you no longer have androgny's child blend. i was told it was the replacement for it because something in the original blend didn't suit your commitment to organic ingredients or something. it's ok but doesn't come close to the original. it doesn't last the same way and something about it is just off.

This is an enormous amount of ingredients! Take a page from Many Aftel who averages 9 ingredients in a natural perfume.

There’s something about the rich, diffusive and bubbly aroma of booze that conjures for many the ambiance of calm, cozy firesides or warm wood libraries full of leathery tomes. Aromas of whisky, wine, fermenting fruit and fine liquor may bring to mind late summer harvests, carefree celebrations,

Extraordinary Cistus – The Plant at the Heart of Amber

The beautiful flowering shrub Cistus, or Rock Rose, is native to the Mediterranean where it thrives in the wild along hot, dry, sunny slopes. Resilient and responsive, the plant secretes from its leaves a remarkable, sticky, aromatic gum to help protect from the intense heat.
